Laptop Recommendation

If you have not already purchased a laptop, we recommend that you consider purchasing a Windows-based computer. Many courses rely heavily on Excel and are designed for the Windows version of Excel in mind. For those of you with Macs already, there are workarounds (e.g. Virtual lab, etc.). However, we find students can run into problems using these alternatives, and there are some shortcuts and functions that are not possible using a Mac. So if you haven’t already purchased a computer, we recommend considering a PC. If you already have a Mac, many current students do and are successful in their courses.
